Many of the students we work with have found themselves falling behind in primary school for many reasons. Once they have lost their way, many find it difficult to keep up with the pace of the demands of the primary and secondary curriculum, even with extra help in school. We see students then losing all confidence in themselves, which in turn affects their self-esteem, and, in some cases, behaviour and attendance.
For some progress is quick and it may be simply a few areas of misunderstandings that just need recapping for things to fall into place; for others, maybe with special educational needs or significant gaps, progress can be slower. However, using our programme we hope the specific needs of all students will be met at their level and pace and they will gain confidence and reach their own potential.
